"hinge-Pivot" ankle supports are a common item these days. Many women's basketball and soccer programs actually require players to wear them because of the outer-ankle injuries common to women athletes. retailers do very well with these braces, but hate that they take up so much space on the retail rack...because they come in 'left and right', as well as in 'small, medium and large'...that takes away a ton of space they could use to display other items...and that's bad for them.
this hinge-pivot ankle is designed for use on the left OR right ankle...and is 'one-size-fits-all'. problem solved.
we also used a new mix of materials that that really changed the weight and appearence of the previous market offerings.
