it had been a long time, but i never forgot the specific pain associated with the wearing of an athletic cup. when suddenly the largest maker of these products was a client, I set out to change the comfort of the item without changing it's functional effectiveness. the addition of insert-injection-molded TPR panels revolutionized this product type throughout the industry...there is scarcely a cup available from ANY manufacturer remaining in the market now that does not include some form of flexible side panels....the cup in this image was the first.
